Gina earned her undergraduate degree (BA, Honours in Psychology with a research focus on reading decoding) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She continued her studies at Memorial, where she earned a Masters in Applied Social Psychology (research focus on Grade 1 reading levels). With a desire to establish a career in the school system, Gina completed a Masters of Education in School Psychology at the University of Calgary, with a research focus on anxiety in youth.
Gina is a licensed member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick (CPNB). She had worked as a school psychologist in Fredericton area schools for 11 years before establishing her private practice in 2018. She is also a Past Chair of the New Brunswick Association of School Psychologists (NBASP).
Gina is dedicated to helping children and youth succeed by facilitating wraparound support at school, at home, and in the community. Her practice primarily focuses on psychoeducational assessments and academic/behavior planning.
Born and raised in Fredericton, Shanyn attended local schools and received her undergraduate degree (BA, Honours in Psychology) from St. Thomas University. She continued her education at the University of Massachusetts Boston where she earned her graduate degrees in School Psychology (M.Ed. and Certificate of Advanced
Born and raised in Fredericton, Shanyn attended local schools and received her undergraduate degree (BA, Honours in Psychology) from St. Thomas University. She continued her education at the University of Massachusetts Boston where she earned her graduate degrees in School Psychology (M.Ed. and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies). Before returning to her hometown of Fredericton to raise her own family, Shanyn worked in schools and a clinical practice in Massachusetts.
Shanyn is a licensed member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick (CPNB). She had worked in Fredericton/Oromocto area schools for 12 years before establishing her private practice in 2018. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Shanyn is passionate about helping children and youth reach their full potential! Her practice primarily focuses on psychoeducational assessment and working with caregivers to support their child's growth and development.
